Today, thousands of Ukrainians who fled the war in Ukraine live in Bulgaria. Many of them have lost their homes there, and some have lost loved ones and relatives.

We started helping the refugees. We called this program Manna. Manna was the food that God gave the Jews in the desert every day while they were moving from the land of bondage to the promised land. 

The lack of clarity about the future, the loss of loved ones, the endless waiting, the unknown, the news of more deaths, as well as the coordinated and methodical destruction of residential buildings, infrastructure and communications leave their mark of fear and hopelessness on the Ukrainian refugees. 

By helping them practically with clothes, food and medicine we restore their hope. We show them that someone cares about them. Yes, we cannot meet all the needs of Ukrainian refugees, but we can give them hope.
